Welcome to BookMyTranscript.com (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By using our website, services, and facilities, you (“the Client”, “Applicant”, “User”, or “Customer”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a binding agreement between the Client and the Company.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must immediately discontinue the use of our website and services.


1. General Terms of Service

1.1. BookMyTranscript.com acts as a facilitator and intermediary between the applicant and the respective universities, colleges, or educational institutions for the purpose of obtaining transcripts, mark sheets, and other academic records.

1.2. The Company does not represent any university or educational institution and has no control over their internal timelines, administrative procedures, or decision-making process. All actions are subject to the rules, regulations, and discretion of the concerned institutions.

1.3. Applicants may be required to submit additional or supporting documents as and when requested by the Company for the successful processing of the application. Failure to provide the required documentation in the prescribed format and within the stipulated time may result in cancellation, rejection, or indefinite hold of the application without any liability on the part of the Company.

1.4. The Company reserves the absolute right to reject, cancel, or withhold any application, at its sole discretion, without assigning any reason or prior notice to the Client.

1.5. All information provided by the Client must be true, correct, and verifiable. Any false, incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent information may lead to permanent rejection of the application and forfeiture of any fees paid.


2. Service Fees and Payment Terms

2.1. All payments made to BookMyTranscript.com shall be in accordance with the fee structure mentioned on the official website or communicated directly by the Company.

2.2. In case, due to any technical error, miscalculation, or payment gateway malfunction, the amount received by the Company is less than the actual payable fee, the Company reserves the right to demand the balance amount from the Client before processing the application.

2.3. The service fee once paid shall be non-transferable and non-refundable, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

2.4. The Company reserves the right to revise its pricing, service fee, or other charges without prior notice. The applicable fee shall be the one prevailing at the time of payment.

2.5. The fee structure includes applicable university/college charges, service charges, packaging, and handling. Government taxes, including GST, shall be levied as applicable and are strictly non-refundable.


3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1. The Client may request cancellation of the service only before the application has been officially submitted to the respective university/institution. Once submitted, no cancellation or modification shall be entertained under any circumstances.

3.2. In the event of cancellation or rejection of the application (for any reason whatsoever) after submission, the Company shall deduct all applicable GST, service fees, administrative and transactional charges. Any remaining refundable amount, if applicable, shall be returned to the Client after such deductions.

3.3. A minimum cancellation fee of INR 500/- or 10% of the total service value (whichever is higher) shall be applicable on any voluntary cancellation request initiated by the Client before submission.

3.4. If, after submission, the process is delayed by more than two and a half (2.5) months beyond the provided Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), and the Client has provided all complete and correct documentation, the Client may choose to withdraw the application and claim a refund of up to 50% of the service fee, excluding taxes and third-party costs.

3.5. If the application remains on hold or inactive for a continuous period exceeding four (4) months due to incomplete, inaccurate, or unverified documents, or non-responsiveness of the Client, the application shall be deemed closed. No refund shall be payable in such circumstances.

3.6. Once the transcripts or documents are dispatched, no refund or cancellation shall be applicable under any circumstances.


4. Refund Request Procedure

4.1. Refund requests must be made in writing through a signed and scanned letter sent to the Company’s official email address. The format is as follows:

Refund Request Letter:
I, [Full Name], used the services of BookMyTranscript.com to obtain transcripts from [University Name]. I acknowledge that the services were rendered as per the agreement. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I no longer require the transcripts. I hereby request a refund as per the applicable policy. I confirm that I will not pursue any litigation or claim beyond this refund request.

4.2. Upon receipt of a valid refund request, the Company will review and decide its admissibility. Approved refunds will be processed within 90 (ninety) working days from the date of approval.

4.3. All refunds will be made only to the original source of payment or to a verified bank account in the Client’s name.


5. Responsibility and Limitation of Liability

5.1. BookMyTranscript.com acts only as a facilitator and cannot be held liable for delays, denials, or rejections caused by universities, postal services, or external agencies.

5.2. The Company shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, misplacement, or theft of documents during transit, storage, or handling, whether by courier, post, or due to natural calamities, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances.

5.3. Once the order is marked “Ready for Collection,” the Client must collect the documents within thirty (30) days. Uncollected items will be securely destroyed after sixty (60) days. No claims or refunds will be entertained thereafter.

5.4. Any “errors” or discrepancies found in transcripts issued by the university or institution shall not be the responsibility of the Company. Corrections, if required, must be sought directly from the issuing authority.


6. Disclosure of Information

6.1. If requested by any university, college, government body, or law enforcement authority, the Company shall be legally bound to disclose the Client’s details without prior notice.

6.2. The Client hereby grants full consent to such disclosures as may be required under applicable laws or institutional policies.


7. Estimated Delivery and Delays

7.1. All time estimates provided by the Company are indicative and based on historical averages. Actual delivery time may vary significantly depending on the internal processes of educational institutions and external agencies.

7.2. The Company shall not be held responsible for any delays due to administrative, technical, postal, or governmental procedures.


8. Modification of Terms

8.1. BookMyTranscript.com reserves the absolute right to amend, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

8.2. Continued use of the Company’s services shall be deemed as acceptance of the modified terms.


9. Indemnity

9.1. The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BookMyTranscript.com, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners, and licensors from and against any and all losses, claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Any breach or non-performance by the Client of these Terms;

  • Any violation of applicable laws, rules, or third-party rights;

  • Any misrepresentation or misuse of the Company’s services or materials.

9.2. This clause shall survive termination of the Client’s relationship with the Company.


10. Disclaimer of Warranties

10.1. The Company provides all services on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any express or implied warranties of any kind, including but not limited to merchantability, accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10.2. The Company does not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;

  • The results obtained will be accurate or reliable;

  • Any errors will be corrected.

10.3. The Client expressly agrees that the use of services is at their sole risk and discretion.


11. Limitation of Liability

11.1. Under no circumstances shall BookMyTranscript.com, its parent entity, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including loss of data, profit, revenue, or goodwill) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Use or inability to use the services;

  • Delays or rejections by universities;

  • Loss or destruction of documents;

  • Errors in transcripts issued by third-party institutions.

11.2. The Company’s maximum liability, in any case, shall not exceed the total service fee actually paid by the Client for the concerned order.


12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

12.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

12.2. All disputes, differences, or claims arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through Arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended from time to time.

12.3. The Arbitration Tribunal shall consist of a Sole Arbitrator appointed by the Company. The language of arbitration shall be English, and the venue shall be Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

12.4. The exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes shall lie with the courts of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.


13. Termination

13.1. The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend any Client’s access to services at its sole discretion for breach of these Terms or misuse of services.

13.2. Termination shall not affect any accrued rights, remedies, or obligations of the Company existing prior to termination.


14. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, riots, government restrictions, natural calamities, network failures, or acts of third parties.


15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with any specific service agreements or invoices issued by the Company, constitute the entire agreement between the Client and BookMyTranscript.com and supersede all prior communications, proposals, or understandings, whether written or oral.
